Christine Quinn created Island Cooking School to share her passion for cooking, food
and wine with others. Christine is the author of “A Craving for Crab Cookbook” Which
has sold out it’s first edition. Christine is currently working on two new cookbooks which will be published by Gibbs-Smith.
"We combine fresh ingredients, with creative recipes to create a convivial culinary adventure that, hopefully, inspires you in your own kitchen." Christine brings years of experience and a lifelong passion to preparing and sharing the foods she loves. As instructor, she develops a quick rapport with her students, and, with her hands-on approach, helps demystify even the most complex cuisines. She believes people learn best by doing.

Christine is deeply committed to to the use and promotion of local and sustainable food
and supporting local farmers, artisan producers and wineries. Her philosophy is based
on the fundamental belief that absolutely everything should be fresh, favoring seasonal
ingredients in the menus developed for classes.
Christine is the proud mother of Josh & Lindsey,Christine & husband Will live on Bainbridge Island where they raise oysters &
mussels in their shellfish garden.

Online-You can register and pay by credit card from the Class Schedule page. This is our preferred payment option, and the best way to ensure a spot in class.
Mail a check-Call or e-mail reservation. Check must be received within 3 days to hold
place.
By Phone -We can take your Visa or Mastercard information over the phone.
We're often busy in the kitchen, but feel free to leave a message.
Classes are refundable up to 14 days before class unless we can fill your spot.
We encourage you to find a substitute should you discover that you are unable to
attend a class.
